Arcana was co-founded by husband and wife team Jake and Ria Seddon. As an ecologist and an artist their goal was to create beautiful items that would educate and inspire connections to nature. In fact, every blanket sold comes with a Nature Connection Guide, which gives educational information about the species and ecosystem in each design.
This range of blankets feature species-accurate artwork woven into the fabric. With beautiful birds on the Forest Flight, huge palm leaves on the Indoor Jungle and flowers and butterflies on the Night Garden the attention to detail is stunning.
The blankets are woven from 75% recycled cotton and the manufacturers and fabrics chosen have an environmentally conscious supply chain.
The idea is that the blanket be loved and passed down through the family, keeping a connection with nature.
